DREAM THEATER firman nuevo contrato – Reedición de JETHRO TULL – Próximo trabajo de IRON ANGEL – TOTAL DEATH estrenan vídeo – Summer Breeze

DREAM THEATER han fichado con Sony Music a través de su filial dedicada al progresivo InsideOut Music para editar su décimo cuarto disco de estudio.

Declara el grupo: “Estamos muy emocionados por firmar un nuevo contrato con InsideOut/Sony. Conocemos a Thomas Waber desde hace mucho tiempo y es fantástico poder trabajar juntos por fin. El entusiasmo de Thomas, su energía, su experiencia en la industria musical y su positivismo cuando mira al futuro de la carrera de DREAM THEATER ha sido increíble de presenciar, y no tenemos ninguna duda de que pertenecer a la familia InsideOut/Sony será una experiencia increíble a nivel profesional y creativo.”

El teclista Jordan Rudess reveló recientemente que la banda podría comenzar en febrero a preparar su próxima obra.

El guitarrista John Petrucci declaró anteriormente que no habría un nuevo disco del grupo hasta 2019.

El nuevo disco de JETHRO TULL "The String Quartets" salió el 24 de marzo a través de The End Records.

El líder del grupo Ian Anderson sacó su último trabajo "Homo Erraticus" el 14 de abril de 2014 a través del sello del cantante Calliandra Records vía Kscope.

Los alemanes IRON ANGEL han fichado con Mighty Music para editar el 4 de mayo un nuevo trabajo titulado “Hellbound”.

Estará disponible en CD, vinilo de diferentes colores y formato digital.

En enero estrenarán un primer single y vídeo.

La banda se formó en 1983 y se estrenaron dos años más tarde con el clásico del underground “Hellish Crossfire” auspiciado por Steamhammer. En 1986 sacaron su segunda obra “Winds Of War” con el mismo sello separándose poco después.

En el 2007 se reunieron y grabaron la maqueta independiente “Back From Hell”, y aunque hasta ahora no han sacado material nuevo, han tocado en bastantes festivales como Headbangers Open Air y Keep It True y han girado por Sudamérica.

En septiembre de 2016 High Roller editó la recopilación “Legions Of Evil” con las dos primeras maquetas del grupo “Power Metal Attack” y la que da título al lanzamiento.

El próximo año 2018 editarán su nuevo trabajo y comenzará la gira "30 años sobre los escenarios".

TOTAL DEATH sacaron en mayo de 2014 de forma independiente su sexto trabajo “Ciudad matadero”.
