SUN OF THE DYING nació en 2013 como proyecto paralelo de Casuso, bajista de APOCYNTHION, y Lavín Uruksoth, cantante de CRYSTAL MOORS que ha grabado las voces de «The Roar of the Furious Sea». La portada ha sido realizada por Israel Pato y el diseño ha corrido a cargo de Tumulus and Crafts.
