TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA comenzarán el 13 de noviembre una nueva gira americana celebrando los 20 años de su ópera rock "The Lost Christmas Eve" con un nuevo espectáculo.

En otro orden de cosas, con motivo del citado aniversario, Rhino sacará el 13 de septiembre una edición especial del disco "The Lost Christmas Eve" en doble vinilo disponible en diferentes colores con libreto de 20 páginas y encarte.

El guitarrista Chris Caffery reveló en febrero de 2022 que habría nuevo material del grupo, pero no se ha vuelto a saber nada.

El 21 de diciembre de 2019 TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA interpretaron un tema inédito llamado "Hey, Can You Hear Me Now?" durante su concierto en Newark, Nueva Jersey.

Marko Hietala ha estrenado un nuevo single y vídeo titulado “Frankentein’s Wife”.

Comenta Hietala: "Me gusta escribir mi romance mezclado con un poco de locura. Lo que dice de mí es cosa de cada uno, pero está claro que es un combo clásico para las leyendas. Espero que también os guste la canción.”

El material ha sido producido por su guitarrista Tuomas Wäinölä.

Hietala publicó en marzo un nuevo single junto a su excompañera en NIGHTWISH Tarja Turunen.

Hietala no descarta una banda con la cantante.
