Nada más conocer el elenco de lujo que compone la banda, –Pacho Brea a la voz, José Rubio y Robert Beade a las guitarras, Juanjo Cobacho al bajo y Joaquín Arellanoel Niño” a la batería-, ya te animas a descubrir de lo que han sido capaces juntos.

Posiblemente el disco sea un suma y sigue en sus carreras, lo que es claro, es que, en él, han depositado sus apetencias musicales, especialmente Pacho, quien aquí coquetea más de cerca con el hard rock, acompañado de  José Rubio, su más fiel aliado. El resto de sus compañeros completan su trabajo tema a tema.

El disco es un paso más allá en las carreras de cada uno, acercándose a una senda musical más melodic hard rock, con melodías que Pacho hace personales, y sentidas, a su forma. Pero, cuidado, que el álbum no es un caramelito de hard rock y ya… Posee fragmentos poderosos, furiosos y llenos de rabia, sobre todo en riffs, solos, y otros detalles.

“Oscura Luz” posee una riqueza instrumental importante, con un riff que abre y cautiva. La melodía de voz es el esqueleto de la canción,  con un Pacho, muy personal, que encandila en un puente que da paso a un pegadizo estribillo. En su parte central nos encontramos con gran solo de guitarras, doblado al final, que se fusiona de nuevo con la melodía de Pacho.

“Susurros” arranca con unos certeros golpes de batería,  un gran riff y un buen dibujo de guitarras, que dan paso a una voz, que en partes está doblada, especialmente en un estribillo muy comercial, melódico y con buen trabajo de voces. Una vez más, un gran solo de guitarra.

“Alguien para amar” es un tema lento, con unos arpegios de inicio que desembocan en una voz muy melodiosa de Brea, que realiza un estribillo doblado por voces. Es la balada del disco.

“Tiempo” es más heavy, incluso podría recordar a la primera etapa de ANKHARA, con algún guiño guitarrero a MSG.  “Vuela” posee un riff inicial muy heavy, y una batería poderosa, con un Pacho cantando con más garra. También se acerca a ANKHARA en algunos detalles, acompañado de un estribillo cargado de melodía.

“Vuela” es el tema más pesado, más heavy. A mi personalmente es el que más me gusta. Posee un gran riff, me gustan las guitarras poderosas. El estribillo es más melódico, pero sin duda es el corte más metalero.

“Perdido en el ayer” es pesado en el inicio, aunque cuando entra la voz Pacho es muy dulce, aunque va subiendo de temperatura según se va adentrando el tema. “Decirte adiós”, es una deliciosa balada, donde las acústicas arropan a un Pacho otra vez edulcorado. El estribillo es muy coreable y uno de los mejores del disco, en mi opinión. El solo es elegante y a la vez demoledor.

“Mi mundo” es otro de los temas más heavies. Destacan claramente las guitarras, al lado de un Pacho que canta muy bien. “Gris” también tiene un riff de guitarra muy firme. Pacho canta bien, arropado por toda la banda.

El álbum lo cierra “Niebla” otro de mis temas favoritos. Con otro buen riff, y un Pacho más fiero, que deriva en otro estribillo melódico “marca BRÉTEMA

Como dije antes, posiblemente no sea la obra cumbre de sus carreras, pero es un buen disco.

  1. Lo he dicho en otro post pero lo repito aquí tras haber escuchado el disco un par de veces. Me ha gustado mucho, y Pacho y Jose Rubio han hecho un trabajo excelente.

  2. A mí me parece un disco con unas melodías muy marcadas y ni una sola canción de relleno. Es una delicia escuchar a Pacho en esas tesituras, bueno, siempre lo es. Gran trabajo

  3. Muy buen trabajo, Pacho y Jose siempre espectaculares, nunca defraudan, en ciertos temas me recordaron a su etapa en Megara, la canción Tiempo pertenece a un trabajo de Pacho en solitario pero con un pequeño toque diferente, los disfrutaremos en directo
