Podemos ver un trailer de la próxima reedición del álbum 1987 de WHITESNAKE  a continuación.

El disco «1987», que fue certificado multi-platino y presentó el single «Here I Go Again», cumple treinta años y la discográfica Rhino lo está celebrando con cuatro nuevas versiones, incluyendo una caja de lujo espectacular.

La tirada de lujo incluye un CD de grabaciones en directo con Adrian Vandenberg, Vivian Campbell y Tommy Aldridge registradas durante la gira del grupo en 1987 y 88. Un tercer disco trae maquetas y grabaciones de ensayos de la época del álbum, y un cuarto contiene remezclas de los cuatro singles, mezclas raras para la radio, versiones de temas realizadas en el 87 y un EP editado exclusivamente en Japón.

El DVD incluye los vídeos de los cuatro singles todos restaurados y remezclados en 5.1 surround, un documental de 30 minutos sobre la realización del disco, un nuevo vídeo promocional creado especialmente para esta reedición de la versión 1988 de «Here I Go Again», e imágenes inéditas de la gira 87-88.

David Coverdale ha comentado sobre el lanzamiento:

«Me alegra mucho tener finalmente tanto catálogo de WHITESNAKE bajo el mismo techo con la familia Warner, y estoy emocionado de trabajar con este equipo para todo el mundo. Tengo grandes recuerdos de mi paso por Warner cuando estuve en DEEP PURPLE, y luego estuve en Geffen cuando les distribuía Warner, así que ahora es como volver a casa al tener allí a WHITESNAKE. Esta reedición tan elaborada es el proyecto perfecto para despegar la relación.»

Joe Perry de AEROSMITH habló con Ultimate Classic Rock sobre el trigésimo aniversario del clásico «Permanent Vacation».

Perry habló sobre el álbum: «Fue el comienzo de un nuevo paradigma en cuanto a escribir y hacer discos. Necesitábamos un nuevo enfoque e influencias, porque no queríamos hacer lo que ya habíamos hecho antiguamente. Y pasó que empezamos a escribir con otros compositores.

La banda incluyó composiciones de Jim Vallance, Holly Knight y Desmond Child, lo que ayudó a la banda a llegar a un público más amplio. «Creo que fue una gran influencia porque se aprende mucho cuando se escribe con otras personas», dijo. «Eso abrió, creativamente, muchas puertas «.

Perry también cree que el hecho de asociarse con Bruce Fairbairn, productor de BON JOVI, y trasladar las sesiones de «Permanent Vacation» a Vancouver, hizo que el sonido del álbum fuera muy distinto: «Creo que BON JOVI acababa de grabar allí ‘Slippery Whem Wet», que era un gran álbum,  por lo que  se respiraba una vibración especial, toda esa energía… El nuevo lugar la nueva ciudad… Todo influyó positivamente»

El álbum, que fue lanzado el 18 de agosto de 1987, se convirtió en uno de los más vendidos de los ’80 y ’90. Y además contó con tres grandes éxitos – «Dude (Looks Like A Lady); «Ángel» – el éxito más grande del álbum, que alcanzó el número 3; y «Rag Doll», que llegó al número 14. Hasta la fecha, «Permanent Vacation» ha vendido cinco millones de copias solo en los Estados Unidos.

DELAIN detalles de su primer Live DVD / Blu-Ray

DELAIN han pasado este último año celebrando su décimo aniversario, desde el lanzamiento de su quinto álbum «Moonbathers» y una edición de aniversario de su álbum de debut  «Lucidity»  y han realizado extensas  giras por Europa y América del Norte

Ahora están a punto lanzar de su primer DVD en vivo / Blu-Ray el 27 de octubre.

Decade Of Delain: Live At Paradiso fue filmado en el legendario Paradiso de Amsterdam el 10 de diciembre de 2016. DELAIN fueron acompañados por Alissa White-Gluz (ARCH ENEMY), Liv Kristine, Burton C. Bell (FEAR FACTORY), y muchos otros invitados especiales y colaboradores.

Además del concierto en vivo, incluye un documental exclusivo sobre la banda titulado We Are The Others – Una Década de DELAIN, una actuación en vivo en «We Are the Others» de Masters of Rock 2015 y el video musical «Suckerpunch».

 Titulado «Phoenix», saldrá el 29 de septiembre y aprovechando la salida estrenan el video para su canción «Repent My Sins»:
