AC/DC inauguran a finales de este mes de marzo una Fundación llamada «Let There Be Rock» con la intención de reunir fondos económicos para ayudar a las bandas de rock australianas.
El dinero se sacará de un porcentaje de las ventas del AC/DC Bourbon con cola.

Mira que me encantan los Judas Priest y los he visto 8 o 9 veces, ya no lo recuerdo, pero el Batería que tienen (Scott Travis) no me ha gustado nunca.
Que es una máquina tocando con montones de recursos y una caña, por supuesto, eso no lo niego , chapeau por él (lo cortés, no quita para lo valiente).
Pero es que lo ves mientras está tocando de esa forma bestial, joé chico, y parece que estas viendo tocar un robot, no tiene expresiones de ningún tipo sobre lo que esta haciendo, no transmite nada, no sonríe, no hace gestos, como si no siente o disfruta con lo que hace.
No lo sé igual es a mí, pero yò si que no percibo nada de el, repito, igual que un robot.
Le pasa alguien lo mismo?

Estoy de acuerdo contigo, Herculean: Travis siempre ha sido un batería tan pirotécnico como inexpresivo y eso no anima un concierto.
De todas formas, llevamos 26 años con Travis en Judas Priest y sabemos lo que hay. Para mí, hoy en día hay algo más alarmante en esta banda: el bajón de Glenn Tipton. Pese a su poca presencia escénica, siempre ha sido una parte fundamental del grupo. En Redeemer of Souls apenas hay trazas de él y, en vivo, Faulkner se lo come. Históricamente, en los conciertos, siempre ha tocado con esa pose de «economía de movimientos»,- fruto de su depurada técnica a la guitarra-, que ha hecho extensible al resto de su cuerpo. Y sus solos son más lentos y menos definidos.
Parece cansado. En fin. Será que se nos hace mayor.
